Players' Code of Conduct
As a player of Llantwit Major RFC, you are expected to uphold the values of our club and the game:
Attitude & Behaviour
- •Play for enjoyment, not just to please others.
- •Respect the opposition - without them, there is no game.
- •Accept the referee's decisions without dissent.
- •Control your temper and language; your conduct reflects on the team.
- •Never give up - the game isn't over until the final whistle.
- •Be gracious in victory and dignified in defeat.
- •Avoid showing off - let your rugby speak for itself.
Teamwork & Respect
- •Support and cooperate with teammates to help the team perform at its best.
- •Encourage others and lead by example.
- •Be inclusive and welcoming to all players.
- •Treat coaches, volunteers, and officials with respect and gratitude.
Off the Pitch
- •Represent the club with pride and integrity in all interactions.
- •Refrain from behaviour that could damage the club's reputation.
- •Support club events and foster camaraderie with fellow members.
- •Zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or abuse of any kind.
